The ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 Thin and Light 2-in-1 HD Touchscreen Laptop, Intel® Quad-Core Pentium® N4200 Processor (2.5GHz), 4GB RAM, 64GB EMMC Storage, Windows 10 Home really is great and here's why.

By our senior writer: Oskari Latt

I've been waiting to write this article for a long time. But today I actually get to review the ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 Thin! I, Oskari Latt, write about electronics for a living as a writer, blogger and reviewer and you have probably read my pieces about the Disney Boys Prehistoric Pals 4-Piece Pajama Set by Keku and the Level U Bluetooth Wireless In-ear Headphones Stero Neck Headset Mic for Samsung/ Apple/Acer/Sony/All Bluetooth Enabled Phones-Black by Sony. I also did an editorial piece on the Dell PowerEdge C6220 II 4-Node 24-Bay SFF 2U Server (Gen2), 8X Intel Xeon E5-2680 2.7GHz 8C, 2TB DDR3, 24x 1.6TB SSDs, 9265-8i, 2X 1100W PSUs, Rails (Certified Refurbished). Needless to say, I have quite some experience testing electronics and I only want the best to my readers of course. So I was really thrilled when I got this product to write about today!

I am really happy to finally be reviewing the ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 Thin and writing1 this review for you guys for I've been using Dell products for over 8 years now and I was really excited when I found out they came out with the ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 Thin. Of course I looked where I can get it the cheapest, and I always find it on this website. This time it was the deal from Walmart (The deal can be bought here.) and I saw it was the best deal on the internet. So I didn't think twice and and ordered it there. Luckily for me at Walmart they had same day delivery and free shipping so I didn't have to wait long for my package to arive. When it did, I couldn't wait to open it and finally see my brand spanking new ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 Thin. I immediately saw it had totally been worth the wait. On the chance of sounding quite a bit biassed being a longtime Dell fan, this product really crushes its competitors, which you can feel immediately when opening the package. I feel like I know enough about the ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 Thin to write this review after testing it for a couple of days now. So keep reading and I will show you why I am so happy with my new ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 Thin.

Best ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 Thin and Light 2-in-1 HD Touchscreen Laptop, Intel® Quad-Core Pentium® N4200 Processor (2.5GHz), 4GB RAM, 64GB EMMC Storage, Windows 10 Home deal

I always start my reviews about electronics with a summary, then a clear list of the pros and cons after which I'll give my rating and conclusion. So as you may have understood from the intro, I am blown away by the ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 Thin. Dell has really outdone itself on this one. The quality is great, and frankly; it just looks awesome. I know aesthetics aren't everything with electronics, but it just needs to be said. Of course the price I got at Walmart was and is unbeatable so make sure to check them out when you decide to buy one yourself. As I have tried many alternatives before, I really got to say they are no match for the ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 Thin. Just the functionalities alone beats all competitors and the durability also seems to be top notch. The customer service of Dell2 is famous for being really generous so if you ever run in to any kind of problem with their products they're always really lenient with finding a solution. Long story short; not much negative to say about the ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 Thin and Light 2-in-1 HD Touchscreen Laptop, Intel® Quad-Core Pentium® N4200 Processor (2.5GHz), 4GB RAM, 64GB EMMC Storage, Windows 10 Home really. Make sure to read to the end tho because you might be in for a small surprise!

This pros list of the ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 Thin could be much longer, and is way longer than the conslist, but the description3 this site has will probably already say it all. Here is just a little piece: "

Good and Bad

It's very reliable for all the things i need to do business wise. It's also good for my kids when it comes to homework and things of that nature. My only problem was that the video card is so out of date that most of the things i need to do calls for a updated video cards so i have to update it myself. Over its a good basic computer tower plus it came with a mouse and keyboard.

for a senior/neighbor

My technically challenged neighbor's computer died, cutting her off from her bank, grandkids, email, etc., so I told her about refurbished CPUs at I found her one at a price that wouldn't break her budget. It came (earlier than promised). It was in excellent shape. It booted up quickly and has performed admirably. Thanks Walmart. Thanks Discount Computer Depot.

Great unit, but...KEYBOARD!

The tower is set up beautifully, and is small enough for either desktop or under desk placement. It's about 12x12x4 and has plenty of USB 2.0 ports, a multi-card port and a headphone port on the front. Processor is relatively fast, and with a good internet connection can handle plenty of open apps/windows, even gaming. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the keyboard. Evidently HP thought it would be a good idea to save space by placing the zero key on a small key instead of the (normal) wide thumb stroke keyboard style. That's so irritating to those of us who do production numerical work. The keyboard included is quite silent and VERY small--about an inch smaller than a regular style keyboard with all the keys included. I would be in love with the keyboard if it weren't for the way they made the numerical zero key; I keep hitting the right arrow instead of being able to strike a zero. They need to go back and redesign on that one thing. I just used an older keyboard and now it's business as usual. I would've chosen a different unit had I known this--they show a wide strike keyboard in their online view of the product. I've attached the numerical keyboard pic. I'd recommend this unit for a college kid or anyone who doesn't need the numerical strike key to be wide--otherwise, HP really needs to go back to the drawing board on that.

I needed a computer fast and I got it fast. Works great! Easy to set up.
