I tried the ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 Thin and Light 2-in-1 HD Touchscreen Laptop, Intel® Quad-Core Pentium® N4200 Processor (2.5GHz), 4GB RAM, 64GB EMMC Storage, Windows 10 Home and why you need one too.

By our senior writer: Maria Garnes

Today is a exciting day for me because I get to review the ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 Thin! I am long time electronics writer, blogger and reviewer Maria Garnes and you might know me from some of my other reviews. I've written for example about the SAMSUNG 65" Class 4K (2160P) Ultra HD Smart LED TV UN65NU7300FXZA (2018 model) by Samsung and the Ssl Ex365 Ex Series Full Range 3-Way Loudspeaker 6.5 150 Watt (JAYBRAKE EX365) by SSL or maybe you have heard of the editorial piece I did on the Apple MacBook Pro 15" Z0V2 CTO (Alternative for MR962LL/A) with Touch Bar: 2.9GHz 6-core 8th-Generation Intel Core i9 Coffee Lake Processor, 4TB, 16GB RAM, 560X - Silver (Mid 2018). Anyway, I have quite a lot experience trying out electronics and recommending only the best to my readers. Therefore I was really happy when this product came on my path.

I've been a fan of Dell products1 for years and I was really looking forward to finally trying the ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 Thin and reviewing it for you guys. I found the best deal on this site on Walmart (You can buy the ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 Thin here.) and I didn't hesitate a moment. So I reached for my creditcard and bought one straight away. I was glad it had free shipping and 24 hours delivery when I ordered it because I couldn't wait! When my ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 Thin arrived the next day I ripped open the packaging and was really happy with what I saw. As I said before I'm a huge Dell enthusiast but I can be very critical and objective too, especially when writing for my readers. :-) After testing it for about a week now I am confident that I have the authority to write this piece. So read on and I will tell you all about my findings and if you should buy this thing.

Best ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 Thin and Light 2-in-1 HD Touchscreen Laptop, Intel® Quad-Core Pentium® N4200 Processor (2.5GHz), 4GB RAM, 64GB EMMC Storage, Windows 10 Home deal

I mostly begin with a summary when reviewing electronics, then I write a list of the positive and negative points of the product after which I'll explain my rating and have a conclusion and of course the resources I used writing this article. So as made clear in the previous paragraphs, I am quite fond of the ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 Thin. Dell really went all out with this one. The quality is unmatched, and to be honest; it just looks amazing. I know looks aren't the most important aspect of electronics, but it does need to be talked about. And I'm sure it will when more people start to look at this masterpiece. The price alone that Walmart offers was and is by far the lowest, and should be enough reason to grab your wallet so make sure to check them out. I did test a lot of similar products before, I must admit none come even close to the ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 Thin. Just the functinality alone leaves all competition in the cold and the quality also proves to be up there. The customer service of Dell2 is known to always be very happy to assist if you have any question so if you ever need them they'll be really tolerant and helpful in looking for a solution. So just a quick recap; only good things to say about the ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 Thin and Light 2-in-1 HD Touchscreen Laptop, Intel® Quad-Core Pentium® N4200 Processor (2.5GHz), 4GB RAM, 64GB EMMC Storage, Windows 10 Home. Do finish this article tho because you there is sort of a surprise in the end!

The list of pros of this ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 Thin is going to be much longer than the conslist and the description3 this site gives already lists them quite well. To quote just an excerpt: "

Good and Bad

It's very reliable for all the things i need to do business wise. It's also good for my kids when it comes to homework and things of that nature. My only problem was that the video card is so out of date that most of the things i need to do calls for a updated video cards so i have to update it myself. Over its a good basic computer tower plus it came with a mouse and keyboard.

for a senior/neighbor

My technically challenged neighbor's computer died, cutting her off from her bank, grandkids, email, etc., so I told her about refurbished CPUs at I found her one at a price that wouldn't break her budget. It came (earlier than promised). It was in excellent shape. It booted up quickly and has performed admirably. Thanks Walmart. Thanks Discount Computer Depot.

Great unit, but...KEYBOARD!

The tower is set up beautifully, and is small enough for either desktop or under desk placement. It's about 12x12x4 and has plenty of USB 2.0 ports, a multi-card port and a headphone port on the front. Processor is relatively fast, and with a good internet connection can handle plenty of open apps/windows, even gaming. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the keyboard. Evidently HP thought it would be a good idea to save space by placing the zero key on a small key instead of the (normal) wide thumb stroke keyboard style. That's so irritating to those of us who do production numerical work. The keyboard included is quite silent and VERY small--about an inch smaller than a regular style keyboard with all the keys included. I would be in love with the keyboard if it weren't for the way they made the numerical zero key; I keep hitting the right arrow instead of being able to strike a zero. They need to go back and redesign on that one thing. I just used an older keyboard and now it's business as usual. I would've chosen a different unit had I known this--they show a wide strike keyboard in their online view of the product. I've attached the numerical keyboard pic. I'd recommend this unit for a college kid or anyone who doesn't need the numerical strike key to be wide--otherwise, HP really needs to go back to the drawing board on that.

I needed a computer fast and I got it fast. Works great! Easy to set up.
